POPULAR CASINO GAMES
BLACKJACK
Black Jack - Also known as pontoon in some countries, the objective of the
game is to draw a higher hand than the dealer without going over 21 (busting)
Poor Strategies of Blackjack:
Bad blackjack strategies hit the tables like clockwork. The three most popular ones known as the "never bust strategy", the "copy the dealer" strategy,
and the "ten in the hole" assumption. Let's review some specific comments I've made about each of them, following Atlantic City rules with its house
edge of 0.43%.
"Never bust" - the never bust strategy is as unwise as they come. According to logistics and actual numbers, a player not hitting on a hard 12 or more will
result in a house edge of 3.91%
"Copy the dealer" - this strategy comes under the assumption that the player will hit on any value up to 16 and stand on 17 or more. Both the player and
the dealer have stood on a soft 17. If the player doesn´t decide to double or split, the house edge is 5.48%
"Ten in the hole" strategy - If the dealer has an ace showing and you assume there is a ten next to it, that results in a 10.03% house edge
Multi Hand Blackjack - follows the same Blackjack rules, with the only exception being you play multiple hands at the same time and use varying
strategies.
